Tata Motors has launched the 2026 iteration of the Tiago in India. The latest Tiago has been launched at a starting price of Rs 4.69 lakh, ex-showroom. The model has cosmetic upgrades, new features and enhanced safety features. Here’s a quick look at some key details.In the features department, it gets a 360-degree camera and paddle shifters on the AMT version. The hatchback will be available in six variants: Smart, Pure, Pure+, Pure+A, Creative and Creative+.In terms of dimensions, Tiago is unchanged. It measures 3,767 mm in length and comes with a wheelbase of 2,400 mm, while the ground clearance is 170 mm.Tata Motors has also strengthened the safety package on the new model. Six airbags are now offered as standard across all variants. Other safety features include Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control, Cruise Control and Blind View Monitor.
2026 Tata Tiago : Engine Specifications
Powering the 2026 Tiago is the same 1.2-litre petrol engine. The motor produces 85 bhp and 113 Nm of torque. It can be had with a five-speed manual gearbox and an AMT unit. Tata says the AMT version’s paddle shifters are a segment-first feature at this price point. The company also continues to offer the CNG version of the hatchback.
2026 Father Tiago : Design and color options
On the outside, the Tiago gets a redesigned front fascia with sleeker LED headlamps and integrated DRLs. The bumper has also been revised, while the 15-inch alloy wheels get a new design.At the rear, Tata has introduced an enclosed style tail lamp setup that spans the width of the car. LED tail lamps further add to the updated look.The color range has also been expanded with three new shades: Pangong Plus, Varanasi Vibrance and Sobo Surge. Existing colors like Pure Grey, Pristine White and Daytona Gray will continue to be available.

Inside the cabin, the Tiago now gets a redesigned dashboard. A 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system takes center stage and supports wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay. The hatchback also gets a fully digital instrument cluster and a dual-tone interior theme.Tata Motors has also added several convenience features, including wireless phone charging, rear AC vent, auto-folding ORVMs and USB Type-C charging ports for both front and rear passengers. AMT variants also get a rotary-style gear selector in place of the traditional gear lever.
2026 Tata Tiago: Pricing
The 2026 Tata Tiago has been launched with introductory ex-showroom prices starting at Rs 4.69 lakh for the Smart Petrol manual variant. The Pure Petrol MT is priced at Rs 5.49 lakh, while the Pure+ and Pure+A Petrol MT variants are priced at Rs 5.99 lakh and Rs 6.49 lakh, respectively. The Creative Petrol MT is available at Rs 6.99 lakh, while the top-end Creative+ Petrol MT is priced at Rs 7.29 lakh. In the CNG manual range, prices for the Smart variant start at Rs 5.79 lakh, followed by the Pure at Rs 6.49 lakh, the Pure+ at Rs 6.99 lakh, and the Pure+A at Rs 7.49 lakh. Creative CNG MT is priced at Rs 7.99 lakh. Tata Motors has also confirmed that the AMT options will be available across multiple trims in both petrol and CNG versions.
