Kia India recently launched the new 2026 Kia Syros in the Indian market. The MY 2026 model gets rejigged variants. The update mainly makes things a bit more accessible by introducing some features to the lower variants, bringing in more affordable diesel automatic options, and adding some subtle design tweaks as well. The Kia Syros is now priced from Rs 8.40 lakh (ex-showroom), bringing the starting price down by Rs 27,000 from earlier. Full price list below.
The 2026 Syros is offered in seven variants – HTE, HTE (O), HTK (EX), HTK+, HTK+(O), HTX and HTX (O). Among the updated lineup, HTE, HTE(O), HTK+(O) and HTX(O) are the newly introduced trims. At the same time, the earlier HTK, HTK(O), HTX+, and HTX+(O) variants have been phased out. In this article, let’s take a look at the various features of the new Kia Syros. Kia Syros HTEThe HTE is the entry-level trim of the new Kia Syros and features a 10.25-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, a 12-inch LCD instrument cluster with a 4.2-inch MID, four speakers, steering-mounted controls, and four-seat seating with black and semi-Port C. The gray interior theme gets matte orange accents, rear AC vent, center console with armrests and cup holders, rear sunshade curtain, and tilt-adjustable steering wheel, while the exterior gets a digital tiger face, ice cube halogen headlamps, 15-inch hand flow door, door with fluo, 15-inch cover. garnish, gloss black skid plates, hood garnish and ORVMs, LED fog lamps, a high-mounted stop lamp, and shark fin antenna; Safety is covered by six airbags, EBD, BAS, ESC, VSM, HAC, ESS, speed- and impact-sensing door locks, rollover sensors, electrically adjustable ORVMs with rear occupant alert and a remote key with central locking.
Kia Syros HTE (O)Next comes the HTE (O), and it adds an electric sunroof, 16-inch diamond-cut alloy wheels, LED ambient lighting, two tweeters, a height-adjustable driver’s seat, and a Highline tire pressure monitoring system.Kia Syros HTK EXThe HTK EX trim gets ice cube LED headlamps, LED DRLs with integrated turn indicators, LED tail lamps, gloss black roof rails, reverse parking camera with dynamic guidelines, and automatic headlamps.Kia Syros HTK Plus This variant comes with a panoramic sunroof, cloud blue and gray cabin theme with mint green accents, 60:40 split rear seats with recline, a rear center armrest with cup holders and adjustable headrest, cruise control, and one-touch up/down driver window, center console with armrest and MT version (MTMT version only).
