The special performance was organized on the occasion of the opening of the State Cabinet on the same day and gathered a remarkable gathering. According to the PTI report, Governor Anandiben Patel, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, Deputy Chief Ministers Keshav Prasad Maurya and Brajesh Pathak, several cabinet ministers and other elected officials were present. According to an official statement, the auditorium echoed with chants of “Krishna-Krishna” and “Radhe-Radhe” during the performance. The CM also came on stage to personally congratulate the cast and crew.The CM directed the Information Department to organize special screenings in all the districts of the state so that the younger generation could meaningfully engage with the cultural and spiritual heritage of India.

Uttar Pradesh CM Yogi Adityanath took to his X account to congratulate the film team and also made a ‘tax free’ announcement. The post read, “Today in the dignified presence of Hon’ble Smt. Governor @anandibenpatel Ji, I attended a special screening of the Hindi film Krishnavataram, based on the divine glory of Yogeshwar Lord Shri Krishna Ji, held in Lucknow with Honorable members of the Cabinet.”It further said, “Artists associated with the film were also felicitated on this occasion. The film Krishnavataram will be tax free in Uttar Pradesh. Good luck and best wishes to all associated with the film.”

Sanskrit Jayana plays the role of Satyabhama

The film is made from the perspective of one Lord Krishna Ashtabharyas, Satyabhama. Sanskruti Jayana has played the role of Satyabhama in the film. The actor is the grandson of UP Governor Anandiben Patel.
