Kannada star Yash will next be seen in the gangster action drama ‘Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups’ directed by Geetu Mohandas. As fans have been in a limbo to understand when the movie will be released, Buzz recently suggested that the team might look into some reshoots. However, the officials have now denied those reports.

Recently, reports started doing the rounds online, claiming that the film would undergo a major reshoot and its release has been pushed to 2027. According to an update shared by Valai Pechu, Christopher Kanagaraj, the author has apparently dismissed reports that he is undergoing a ‘Toxic’ chat. The update brought relief to fans worried about another delay.At the same time, the production team has not made any official announcement about the release date of the film. Therefore, the exact status of the project is still unclear.Also, reports suggest that the OTT deal for the film is yet to be finalised.

Directed by Geetu Mohandas, ‘Toxic’ is a period action thriller starring Yash as Raya. He is seen in a dual avatar as shown in the teasers released earlier this year. This is Yash’s 19th film and his first after ‘KGF’ films.
