Speaking to Bollywood Hungama, Neeta Lulla revealed that Aishwarya Rai was once considered for ‘Darr’. The fashion designer spoke about the casting detail in an interview with Bollywood Hungama. He said he first met Aishwarya at Yash Chopra’s office, where the filmmaker was considering her for ‘Darr’.Lulla said, “I first met Aishwarya in late Yash (Chopra) ji’s office where he was thinking of casting her for Darr.”She added, “I think a lot of people don’t know that. So we did a look test and she called me and said let’s do a look test with her. When I saw her, Yash ji and I discussed it and told her she’s beautiful. But she said it might not work because she was going to the Miss World Pageant and she went and that happened.”Later, Aishwarya won Miss World in 1994. His film career took off soon, and he worked in several major titles in Hindi and Tamil cinema.
