According to MoneyControl, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will attend the closing ceremony of the 2026 Cannes Film Festival. The report said he was unable to travel to France for previously undisclosed reasons. His absence fueled speculation that he would skip the festival this year. For Indian audiences, Cannes has long been associated with Aishwarya. He made his debut at the festival in 2002, at the premiere of ‘Devdas’ alongside Shah Rukh Khan and director Sanjay Leela Bhansali. That yellow net look remains one of her most memorable red carpet looks. Bollywood celebrities, including Alia Bhatt, have also spoken about its enduring appeal.
