Party workers gathered in large numbers, waving flags, distributing sweets and dancing to Vijay’s popular ‘Whistle Podu’. Similar scenes unfolded outside his residence, where family members joined in the celebrations.
A visit that brings ‘Leo’ and beyond
Trisha‘s visit has sparked nostalgia for his longtime relationship with Vijay. The duo reunited on screen in Leon after a gap of 15 years, reminding fans of their iconic couple.At a press conference, Trisha spoke fondly about working with him again, saying, “Vijay… it was like meeting a school friend again after a long time. There was the same comfort, love and friendship. In my 20-year career, the longest journey I took with a co-star was with Vijay. They say home is not a place, but a person.”He also described the shoot as effortless and enjoyable, adding, “The Leo set was like that. I was telling Lokesh, ‘He doesn’t feel like working, we all work a lot’. But… it felt like a vacation.”Vijay also praised her journey, saying, “It’s not easy for a young actress to be at the top for 20 years, but Trisha did it with energy and beauty. She is our princess Kundavai. Congratulations.”

Also, in an old interview with the pair from Coffee With Anu, Trisha spoke about Vijay’s calm nature on the sets. While the rest of the group bonded and spent time together, Vijay often preferred to sit alone, lost in his thoughts. She also admitted that her silence was something she sometimes found “annoying” because it made her seem inaccessible. Vijay, however, responded in his calm manner, saying that he was usually thinking about the scene, before returning to silence.
