The kumbabiishekam ceremony at the temple is said to have taken place in February 2024 and was attended by relatives and close friends. According to Shoba Chandrasekhar, he always wanted to build a Sai Baba temple in his area. Speaking emotionally at the event, Vijay shared that he had fulfilled his long-held dream by building the temple. He also mentioned that he visits the temple every Thursday for prayers and darshan.
