Kolkata: The West Bengal Board of Secondary Education announced the results of Madhyamik on Friday, recording an overall pass percentage of 86.83%. This is a slight increase from last year’s pass percentage of 86.56%. Among the districts, Kalimpong recorded the highest pass percentage of 95.10%. It is followed by East Midnapore 94.82%, Kolkata 92. 3192.31%, West Midnapore 91.40% and East Midnapore 90.85%. Overall, 1.46% of students achieved A+ grade (90–100). A total of 9,01,724 regular students appeared for the exam this year.A total of 131 students from 19 districts are included in the first tenth rank. Avarup Bhadra from Raiganj’s Sharda Vidyamandar stood first with 99.71 per cent.
