In an interview with Variety India, he said, “The first thing I do is accept it. It’s very important to accept what happened. I feel like when a film doesn’t work, the bottom line is simple, it didn’t work.”Instead of deflecting blame or moving on quickly, Aamir shares that he takes every underperforming film as an intellectual exercise. He described his method of analyzing failure as structured and really engaging. He explained, “It’s like solving a puzzle.” The actor added, “You’re trying to figure that out. So one of the things I often do with my directors is I discuss the film with them before the release. Did we end up doing what we set out to do? How successful do we think we are before release? And the discussion is very important, because then you are able to judge the film creatively.’
