The West Bengal Joint Entrance Examinations Board (WBJEEB) has extended the last date for registration for the Joint Entrance Test for Nursing, Paramedical, and Allied Sciences Undergraduates. Eligible candidates can now apply online through official website i.e. wbjeeb.nic.in till 18th April 2026.The JENPAS UG 2026 exam is conducted for admission to undergraduate courses including Bachelor of Science (BSc) Nursing, Bachelor of Physiotherapy (BPT) and Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT).

WB JEE JENPAS UG 2026: Important Dates

Candidates should note the following important dates.

  • Last Date to Apply: 18 April 2026
  • Application optimization window: From 20 April to 22 April 2026
  • Admit Card Release: May 29, 2026
  • Exam Date: June 7, 2026

JENPAS UG 2026 exam will be conducted in offline mode using OMR sheets. The exam will be conducted in two shifts. Shift 1 is from 11am to 12:30pm, and Shift 2 is from 2pm to 3:30pm.

WBJEE JENPAS UG 2026: Application Fee

Candidates are required to pay application fee based on category:

  • General, Other Backward Classes (OBC), Economically Weaker Section (EWS): ₹500 for one paper, ₹800 for both papers.
  • Scheduled Caste (SC), Scheduled Tribe (ST), Persons with Disabilities (PwD): ₹400 for one paper, ₹650 for both papers.

Paper 1 will be conducted for all courses except Bachelor of Hospital Administration (BHA), while Paper 2 will be conducted for BHA course only.

JENPAS UG 2026: Exam Pattern

The examination will consist of two papers, each of 90 minutes duration. Each paper will have 100 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) carrying 115 marks.The subjects covered in the exam are Physics, Chemistry, Biological Sciences, Basic English, Logical Reasoning.The exam will be conducted in English and Bengali languages.Marking SchemeCategory 1 questions carry 1 mark with 0.25 negative marking, and Category 2 questions carry 2 marks with no negative marking.

JENPAS UG 2026: Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfill the following requirements:

  • Must have passed 12th standard.
  • Subjects required: Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English
  • Minimum 45% marks for general category
  • Minimum 40% marks for candidates of specified category
