Vivek shares a post on Agnihotri Pahalgam attack
Vivek Agnihotri opened his note with a line that captured the weight of grief that time alone cannot erase. He wrote: “A year has passed. But some days do not progress. They stay where they broke.”He then recalled individual stories that brought the scale of loss into stark human perspective. “A young officer, six days into marriage…a honeymoon that was meant to be the beginning of a lifetime,” he wrote, recalling dreams that were cut short without warning. He also remembered “a man who came with faith in his heart”… a young man from Kanpur, who left home for a few days and never came back.Agnihotri did not shy away from putting numbers to the upset. He also added: “26 lives lost. 26 widows. 26 families broken,” stressing that the real damage is much deeper than any statistics can capture.Agnihotri’s statement had a clear and firm message against the normalization of such violence. “Terrorism it doesn’t just kill people. It ends lives in mid-sentence,” he wrote. He concluded with a solemn call to honor the victims: “No idea, no cause, no belief can ever justify the taking of innocent lives. We owe them memory. We owe them dignity.”
