Patidar, who was batting on 18 and then 20, was out twice off Parsid Krishna. Soon after, GT’s fielding slipped as Kalwant conceded 28 runs in an over that included a misfield, two no balls and a wide.Patidar took full advantage, attacking both Kalwant and Rashid, while Krunal joined them in a 95-run partnership. Krunal scored 43 before Rabada broke the stand, but by then RCB were already in control.Patidar continued the onslaught till the end and helped the defending champions finish with the highest total in the history of the IPL playoffs.
