The actor spoke to Variety India about wanting to direct a film. When asked further, he hilariously shared the type of film: full horror. He said, “I would love to do a horror film set in Rajasthan. A very ‘jaadu-ton’ kind of horror. Very psychological, [but] at the same time, straight horror, not like a comedy. With the release of ‘IC 814: Kidnapping in Kandahar’, Vijay Varma is all set for a whirlwind year. His next big, ‘Matka King’, hitting the screens on April 17, stars Brij Bhatti as a cotton merchant turned gambling king of 1960s Bombay. They share the lead with Sai Tamhankar, Kritika Kamra, Siddharth JadhavJamie Lever and Gulshan Grover. Vijay has also been roped in for the Netflix series ‘Family Business’, featuring stars like Anil Kapoor, Akash Khurana, Rhea Chakraborty, Neha Dhupiaand others.
