Yash confirms ‘Toxic’ delay
Yash has officially announced that Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups will not be released on June 4th. This has the second delay of the film. It was earlier scheduled to release on March 19.In a detailed statement, Yash explained the decision. He said: “There are movies that we make, and then there are movies that remind us why we fell in love with cinema. Toxic has been such a journey. Presenting our film at CinemaCon and witnessing the tremendous global response has confirmed what we’ve always believed: that this film deserves to reach its full potential worldwide”.Yash clarified that the film is complete, however, it needs better alignment for a global release. He said: “Toxic is complete, and we are currently lining up global distribution and partnerships. In light of this, we have decided to recalibrate our release date. While we won’t be releasing on June 4th as previously announced, we will be releasing on a later, globally aligned date. Toxic is coming to theaters worldwide soon.“He also talked about the responsibility of Indian cinema in the world. “At a time when Indian cinema is finding its voice and stepping onto the global stage with such promise, each one of us has a responsibility to raise the bar. As an actor-producer, I see this moment as an opportunity for the Indian film industry and for all of us to participate by taking the time to make our film reach the world with the impact it should have.“He thanked fans for their support through the changes. “Through every step and change, your support has stayed with me, and I carry it with gratitude.” He concluded by saying, “Some stories demand patience. Some journeys demand it. We promise you a film to enjoy and celebrate, a film that will be a proud moment for Indian cinema.”
