Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Services Selection Commission (UPSSSC) will close the application correction and fee payment window for Assistant Statistical Officer (ASO) and Assistant Research Officer (ARO) Recruitment Exam 2026 tomorrow on 22 May 2026.Candidates who have already submitted their applications can correct the form and complete the fee payment process through the official website, which is upsssc.gov.in.The commission had already extended the last date of registration and increased the total number of posts to 1,565.
UPSSSC ASO , ARO Recruitment 2026 Vacancy details
As per the revised notification, additional posts have been added in various departments of Uttar Pradesh Government.Most vacancies are announced under Economics and Statistics Division of Planning Department. Additional posts have also been added to the departments like:
- Industry and Enterprise Promotion
- Department of Agriculture
- Medical and health services
- Higher education
- Animals
- UTTAR PRADESH POWER CORPORATION LIMITED
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates applying for the recruitment should have Post Graduate Degree in Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, Commerce, Economics or Statistics from a recognized University.Applicants should also know Hindi written in Devanagari script.Also, candidates need to clear the Uttar Pradesh Preliminary Eligibility Test (PET) 2024 to be eligible for the recruitment process.Preference may also be given to candidates having Diploma in Computer Science or any recognized qualification in Computer.
Age Limit
As per the official notification, the age of the candidates should be between 21 to 40 years as on 1st July 2024. Reserve category candidates will be eligible for age relaxation as per Uttar Pradesh Government rules.
