All-rounders of Pakistan Khushdil Shah has claimed that India often benefits from favorable umpiring and match decisions during Pakistan-India matches.Speaking on the ARY podcast with teammate Abbas Afridi, Khushdil spoke about the unique pressures and emotions that surround India-Pakistan matches. However, it was his comments about alleged bias in key aspects of the game that quickly gained attention on social media.According to Khushdil, matches against India vary in intensity, but he believes that several factors work in India’s favor during these encounters. “The matches against India bring some extra emotion and then the pressure is off a bit. When we played, we used to beat them too,” Khushdal said. The left-hander then went a step further, claiming that decisions both on and off the field often benefit the Men in Blue.“During matches things go in their favour. Umpiring decisions go in their favour, as do some dressing room decisions, and even matches go their way,” he said.Despite these allegations, Khushdal insisted that victories over India become even more satisfying from Pakistan’s perspective because of the perceived challenges.“Despite all that, when Pakistan wins, it is especially gratifying,” he added.
