Mike Mitchell is no longer part of the ‘Twisted Metal’ cast
Prior to the release of Season 3, it was confirmed that Mike Mitchell would not be part of the show. The actor confirmed the news a few days ago on the latest episode of his ‘Doughboys Media’ podcast. Speaking about the same, Mitchell expressed how disappointed he was with the decision, saying, “I don’t think I’ll be back for a third season of Twisted Metal. And I’m so broken. I love the show.” The actor also revealed that he wanted to get the announcement out of the way.He revealed that many changes have been made with the ‘Twisted Metal’ team behind the camera, and he added that many employees have been let go, along with a couple of department heads. In addition to that, he also revealed that a new showrunner has been added to the team. Nick Wiger, who hosted the podcast, also expressed his disappointment with the issue, saying: “You say you’re not bitter, I think we all are. This is just disgusting and horrible. And it’s not fair, and our industry is broken.”

‘Twisted Metal’ is set in a dystopian universe and follows John Doe, a famous delivery driver with amnesia, to deliver an unknown package across what’s left of the US.
