Telangana Board of Intermediate Education (TGBIE) has extended the last date for payment and verification of examination fee for Intermediate Public Advanced Supplementary Examinations (IPASE) 2026. According to a press release issued on April 20, the deadline for students to complete the process is April 23, 2026.The extension is intended for Telangana Board 1st year and 2nd year intermediate students. The new deadline applies to candidates who have not cleared one or more subjects in the regular examination and are waiting to appear in the supplementary examinations under the general and vocational streams.Supplementary examinations allow students to complete the subjects in which they fail, within the same academic year. Every year, the board conducts this cycle immediately after the announcement of important results. In 2025, supplementary exams were scheduled within weeks of results, followed by a faster evaluation process to release marks in time for undergraduate admissions.Notably, students are allowed to appear only in those subjects which they have not cleared. Candidates seeking to improve marks can also apply, however, subject to board guidelines. In such cases, the higher of the two scores—main exam or supplementary—is accepted for the final mark sheet. Internal assessment marks and attendance records, however, remain unchanged and are not re-evaluated.Meanwhile, the board has released the provisional IPASE 2026 exam schedule. The theory exams are proposed from May 13 to May 21, with first year papers in the morning session (9:00 am to 12:00 pm) and second year papers in the afternoon session (2:30 pm to 5:30 pm).
