How Madhuri Dixit wants to be remembered
During the interaction, Madhu was asked how she would like fans to remember her legacy after decades of entertaining audiences.Keeping her answer simple and heartfelt, the actress said, “I want people to remember me the way I made them feel.”
The secret to a lasting relationship
Madhuri also shared her thoughts on how to make a relationship last in today’s fast-paced world.“I think having respect for each other and pride in each other’s wins and being there for each other in your losses. There should be respect and love and everything, but I think you should always be together in your goals and make sure your kids and family are always taken care of, and you’re there for each other,” she said.Triptych echoed similar sentiments, stressing the importance of friendship in a relationship.“I think friendship is very, very important because love can disappear as a feeling after a point, but friendship and respect and being there for each other in difficult times is important. Life is not always in a line; there are ups and downs. You can’t just be there for the good times. You have to be the same in the bad times,” he said.He also added, “consistency is very important. Not taking each other is something we must always keep in mind.”
Madhuri on changing work culture in Bollywood
Talking about how the industry has evolved over the years, Madhuri reflected on the times when actors routinely did double shifts.“I think it’s much more organized now. When we do a project, it has a set number of days and you know where you’re going to shoot and what you’re going to do. Then you can plan your life as well,” he explains.Recalling his early years in the industry, he added, “We used to do double shifts for two different films. We would shoot from 9 to 6 for one person and then continue with another film until late at night. Today, we shoot for one film and are fully present. That’s all we’re doing for the next 30 to 40 days.”
