According to USA Today, Tom Holland once opened up about the role alcohol played in his life and why he decided to quit drinking. The actor said that the pressure of his job and life in the public eye became tougher when alcohol was part of the picture.“Drinking was ultimately something that was getting in the way of my professional life. Being an actor and living your life on the big stage can be very stressful. And I think alcohol, for me personally, exacerbated that problem. And, not only did I cut out the booze, but because I felt more like myself and woke up every day with a clear and fresh head to start the day, I’ve said that I feel much safer in the US now.”Holland spoke about his relationship with alcohol in 2023 on the Jay Shetty Podcast. She said the first month after quitting was harder than expected. He noticed that the craving had developed an unhealthy addiction to alcohol.

Holland also talked about Generation Z’s shift away from alcohol. He said: “Alcohol can be an amazing thing, but it can also be an incredibly dangerous thing. And I love to see young people turning away from alcohol and looking for alternatives. And, I think, it creates a safer environment, a more communal environment.”His sobriety journey also led him to launch his own alcohol-free brand, BERO. Holland believes that this option will help him in the first few months of leaving.The 29-year-old actor said he doesn’t want to force sobriety on anyone. However, as a public figure with many young superhero fans, he hopes to show people that they can enjoy life without alcohol.
