TN HSC Supplementary Exams 2026: Directorate of Government Examinations, Tamil Nadu has announced the supplementary examination schedule for class 12 students after the declaration of TN HSC Result 2026. The Higher Secondary Certificate Supplementary Examinations will be held across the state from June 29 to July 7.The supplementary exam schedule was released on Friday 8th May 2026 along with the class 12 board exam results. Students who failed one or more subjects in the public examinations will be eligible to apply for the supplementary test within the notified application window.Application Process and Important DatesTamil Nadu’s school education department said applications for the supplementary examinations will be accepted from May 18 to June 2. Students are required to complete the application process through the channels notified by the Board within the stipulated period.Apart from the Class 12 supplementary exams, the Directorate of Government Examinations also announced the schedule for the Class 11 rear exams. Back exams for Class 11 students will be held from July 8 to July 16.The board has also released the dates for re-examination and re-submission of class 12 and class 11 back examination papers. Students seeking revaluation or re-totaling can submit their applications from June 5 to June 8.Result statistics released by the boardTamil Nadu recorded an overall pass percentage of 95.20 percent in the Class 12 board examinations for the academic session 2025-2026. Out of 7,91,654 students who appeared for the examinations, 7,53,694 cleared the examinations conducted by the state board.In the Higher Secondary Certificate examinations, girls scored 97% while boys scored 93.19%. This year, girls outperformed boys by 3.81 percentage points.Erode district recorded the highest pass percentage in the state at 98.87%. Shivagangai and Kanyakumari are among the top performing districts in the board exams.Access to Results and Mark SheetsStudents can continue to check their 12th class results through the official website tnresults.nic.in and dge.tn.gov.in. The board has also provided access through DigiLocker, SMS and WhatsApp services.The provisional mark sheets for class 12 students will be available from 13th May 2026. Students seeking copies of their answer sheets can submit applications between 12 May to 16 May 2026.
