Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education has officially announced the date and time for the declaration of HSC Result 2026. As per the notification issued by the board, the Class 12 result will be declared on the official platforms on May 2, 2026 at 1:00 PM.This announcement has been made after the completion of the examinations to be held between February and March 2026. The board confirmed that the results will be released simultaneously through multiple official websites to ensure accessibility for students across the state.Official websites and access detailsStudents will be able to check their results at results.digilocker.gov.in, mahahsscboard.in and hscresult.mkcl.org. The board has said that all the candidates who appeared in the examination can view and download their provisional mark sheet from these portals.Digital result documents will also be available through the DigiLocker application, allowing students to securely store and access their mark sheets. Also, junior colleges will be able to access the overall results of their students through the official login provided on the board’s website.Press conference and announcement processThe Board will hold a press conference at its Pune office on 2nd May 2026 at 11:00 AM before the release of the results. During this briefing, important details regarding the exam and performance are expected to be shared before the activation of the result link at 1:00 PM.The HSC examination is conducted by nine divisional boards including Pune, Nagpur, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar, Mumbai, Kolhapur, Amravati, Nashik, Latur and Konkan.Post-process and re-evaluation of resultsAfter declaration of results, students will have option to apply online for verification of marks and get photocopy of answer sheet for specific subjects. Applications for these services can be submitted from May 3 to May 17, 2026 through the official website on payment of the prescribed fee.Students seeking re-evaluation must first obtain a photocopy of the answer sheet and then apply within five working days from the date of receipt. The Board has advised the candidates to contact their respective Divisional Offices for further procedures related to re-evaluation.Improvement Scheme and Supplementary ExaminationsCandidates who clear the HSC examination will be eligible to appear for Class Improvement Scheme. It allows students to improve their scores by re-appearing in three consecutive sessions, including June-July 2026, February-March 2027 and June-July 2027.The board has said that a separate notification will be issued regarding applications for supplementary examinations, category correction and private candidates.
