Rs 10 crore pre-sale update of ‘Drishyam 3’
According to industry tracker AB George, the film’s worldwide advance bookings have crossed Rs 10 crore and continue to climb.The tweet read, “Drishyam3 sold over 10 million worldwide and counting Last week kathikkal starts today.” The film is expected to post one of the biggest Malayalam opening weekends in recent years if the current trend continues.
Georgekutty returns with familiar faces
The upcoming film serves as the third installment of one of the most famous thriller franchises in Indian cinema. The story follows the journey of Georgekutty and his family after the events of ‘Drishyam’ and ‘Drishyam 2’.Along with Mohanlal are Meena, Ansiba Hassan, Esther Anil, Siddique, Asha Sharath, Murali Gopy and Veena Nandakumar.

The Hindi version of ‘Drishyam 3’ will release on October 2
Hindi producers Kumar Mangat Pathak and Abhishek Pathak recently spoke about the Hindi adaptation of ‘Drishyam 3’ starring Ajay Devgn.Speaking to ANI, Kumar Mangat Pathak said, “When the blockade started, we watched a lot of Malayalam films. We realized that the content there is very good. Different types of films are made and appreciated there.” Abhishek Pathak also confirmed the release window of the Hindi version. He said, “‘Drishyam 3’ will release on October 2.”While the Hindi adaptation is targeting a later release, the Malayalam original will hit theaters worldwide on May 21.
