Tripura Board of Joint Entrance Examination has declared TBJEE 2026 Result on 22 May 2026 today. Candidates who appeared for the Tripura Joint Entrance Examination (TJEE) on 23 April 2026 will be able to check their scores and download the rank card from the official website, tbje.gov.jp.State-level entrance examination is conducted for admission to undergraduate programs in engineering, agriculture, veterinary, fisheries and other professional courses offered by institutions across the state. Students from both PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) and PCB (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) streams appeared for the exam.
Rank cards to get subject wise scores
Once the result link is activated, candidates will be able to access their rank cards including subject wise marks, aggregate score and merit positions. The board is also expected to publish a detailed merit list prepared through a normal scoring system.The declaration of results is expected to set the stage for the counseling process, which is likely to begin in June 2026. Eligible candidates will be eligible to participate in the counseling round for allotment of seats in participating colleges in Tripura.
TBJEE Result 2026: Important Statistics
The TBJEE results recorded a total of 4,731 applications for TBJEE 2026, including 2,769 candidates from the General category, 1,133 from the ST category, and 829 candidates from the SC category. In the PCM group, 1,864 candidates appeared in the examination, including 1,294 general category students, 220 ST candidates, and 350 SC candidates. Meanwhile, 3,873 candidates appeared in the PCB group, including 2,186 from the general category, 1,024 from the ST category, and 663 from the SC category. In the PCM stream, Arg Jyoti Saha bagged the first position with roll no 0188, followed by Animesh Sarkar (roll no 4156) and Akash Chaudhary (roll no 2528). In the PCB stream, Beybh Roy secured the top rank with roll number 1928, while Akash Chaudhary secured the second position and Arnab Mitra secured the third position with roll number 1598.
TBJEE Result 2026: Steps to Download
Candidates can follow these steps to access their results:
- Visit the official website at TBJEE portal, tbjee.tripura.gov.in.
- Click on the “TBJEE 2026 Results” link on the home page.
- Enter required login credentials including registration number and password.
- The TBJEE 2026 Rank Card will appear on the screen.
- Download and take a printout for future counseling and admission process.

The tie-breaking rules were explained.
The Board will follow the pre-determined tie-breaking mechanism if two or more candidates score equally. Preference will be given to candidates with higher combined marks in core subjects allegedly under PCM or PCB groups. If a tie persists, age criteria may also be considered for ranking purposes.
The counseling process is likely to start in June.
After the declaration of results, the counseling schedule and registration details are expected to be released by the board separately.
