Reacting to the controversies surrounding Ranbir’s look as Lord Ram, Khanna dismissed such controversies.“These things are exaggerated — how it looks and all that — meaningless. In the end, there’s only one thing that connects with people: real raw emotion,” he said.He added, “A film works when there’s an emotional connection. If that doesn’t happen, you can spend millions, but the film won’t work.”

It calls the initial negative

Tarun also addressed the negative comments about Ramayana, especially comparing it to Adipurush.“People are already saying that so much money has been spent and the film will not work. Why spread negativity? Why say it will be another Adipurush?” he saidHe noted that such narratives affect not only the stars but the larger crew. “It’s not just Ranbir Kapoor, there are many people whose livelihood is attached to a film.”

Praising the actor further, Tarun said, “He’s one of the best actors of our generation in the last 20 years. “VFX don’t make a movie work”

Discussing the film’s scale and VFX, Tarun said that technology alone cannot guarantee success.“The film doesn’t work because of the VFX. It works because of the emotion. If the emotion is right, the film will work. If it’s not, even if you shoot it on the moon, it won’t work,” he said.

Ranbir, Alia went to her show

Tarun also remembered Ranbir along with Alia Bhatt and Neetu Kapoor during his performance at NCPA in Mumbai.“We talked before the show. But they left about five minutes before the last scene, because otherwise the audience would have surrounded them. Their group quickly took them out,” he said.
