TN SSLC Result 2026 Topper: The Directorate of Government Examinations (DGE), Tamil Nadu today announced the TN SSLC Result 2026 with the state securing an overall pass percentage of 94.31 in the Class 10 public examinations. More than 8.70 lakh students appeared for the SSLC board exams held between March 11 and April 6 across the state.Among high-scoring students this year, Suganthi of Ashoknagar Girls Higher Secondary School emerged as the school topper after securing 496 marks out of 500 in the MSSLC examinations. The results were released online at 9:30 am through tnresults.nic.in and other official result portals.Suganthi M emerged as the school topper.

However, schools across the state announced the details of their top performing students after the provisional scorecards were published online.Tamil Nadu has improved the performance of SSLC.Tamil Nadu recorded a pass rate of 94.31 per cent in SSLC examinations this year, a slight increase from last year’s 93.80 per cent. A total of 8,70,643 students appeared for the exams across the state.Girls continued to outperform boys in board exams. In the results announced today, girl students secured 96.47 percent while boys secured 92.15 percent.Thousands of schools achieved great resultsThe Directorate of Government Examinations has reported that 5,171 schools have secured 100% pass percentage in SSLC examinations this year. Of these, 1,931 were government schools.In all, 12,467 schools participated in the Class 10 public examinations. Board data shows that 8,233 schools in Tamil Nadu secured more than 95% pass percentage.Students can access provisional mark sheets online.Students can continue to download their provisional scorecards through tnresults.nic.in, dge.tn.gov.in, DigiLocker and UMANG platforms. The online mark sheets contain details including subject-wise marks, total score, eligibility status and candidate information.The Tamil Nadu Board has clarified that the online scorecards are provisional in nature. The original mark sheets and certificates will be distributed later by the respective schools after completion of official procedures.
