SSC CGL 2025 Final Result Released for 15,118 Posts in Ministries and Departments
SSC CGL 2025 Final Result: The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has declared the Combined Graduate Level Examination (CGLE) 2025 final result. Result Notification was released by SSC Headquarters on 14th May 2026. A total of 15,118 candidates have been provisionally shortlisted for appointment to various posts in Ministries and Departments under the Government of India.Candidates shortlisted in the first round of provisional allotment were required to appear in the sliding and identity verification process to be held in April 2026. The commission said that candidates who did not participate in the process were not considered for final allotment. The SSC also confirmed that the fresh ranks assigned in the final results will replace the FRTA ranks announced earlier.Category wise vacancy detailsSSC has released separate vacancy data for Junior Statistical Officer, Statistical Investigator Grade-II and other posts.
FIX and FLOAT option detailsDuring the sliding process, candidates were given FIX and FLOAT options for post-allocation preferences.
SSC said that the allotments were prepared on the basis of merit, post preferences and options selected during the verification process.Recommended candidates in all categoriesThe Commission confirmed that all the notified posts have been provisionally filled through the final selection process.

Posts are included in the final allocation.The final result includes appointments to various Group B and Group C posts such as Inspector of Income Tax, Inspector (Central Excise), Assistant Section Officer, Assistant Enforcement Officer, Sub Inspector in CBI, Tax Assistant, Auditor, Accountant, Upper Division Clerk, Junior Statistical Officer and Statistical Investigation Grade.SSC said that one post of HH was filled through vertical category as a suitable candidate was not available under reserved category. The result of 106 candidates has been withheld due to various reasons. The commission also clarified that no reserve list or waiting list has been prepared.According to SSC, the detailed marks and final answer keys for selected and non-selected candidates will be uploaded separately on the official website. Further document verification and appointment formalities will now be done by the departments allotted to the candidates.
