Their batting, apart from the partnership of Travis Head and Ishan Kishan, failed to score in this game.
Head has roared back into form with back-to-back fifties in recent outings. Abhishek Sharma has also been involved in the runs while Henrik Klaassen has been a picture of consistency throughout the season.
With the ball, Hyderabad remain a good goal unit. The return of captain Cummins has added to their attack. The pace group has shown admirable control, especially in the death overs.
Bowlers like Ishan Malinga, Praful Henge and Saqib Hussain have bowled with precision at the back end, making Hyderabad one of the most effective sides in finishing the innings.
Malinga, in particular, has been a revelation, illustrating the depth of a unit that has not relied on a single standout performer.
