New Delhi: Shabman Gul Gujarat Titans grabbed attention on social media once again after registering a resounding 82-run win over Sunrisers Hyderabad in IPL 2026. Soon after the win in Ahmedabad, the GT skipper shared a cheeky Instagram post with the caption: “The hearts are still true, and the houses are raw.“The hilarious line instantly went viral among fans, as it refers to an old light-hearted exchange between Gill and SRH star Ishan Kishan during a previous conversation on Star Sports.
During the conversation, Gill mocked Hyderabad’s record against Gujarat. “When did SRH last win?” Gill had asked.To which Abhishek Sharma replied, “SRH won long ago”. Gill then delivered the punchline that fans quickly latched onto with his latest Instagram caption: “The SRH tab won last when houses are raw, and hearts are true.”Gujarat grabbed the post soon after extending their dominance over Hyderabad with another emphatic win at the Narendra Modi Stadium.On the field, GT put in a complete performance to outclass SRH. Half-centuries from Sai Sudharsan and Washington Sundar took Gujarat to 168/5 on a difficult batting surface. Sudharsan scored 61 runs off 44 balls while Sundar scored 50 runs off 33 balls. Nishant Sindhu also scored a useful 22 runs.
