Acclaimed actress Shoshana Bean has finally received the Tony Award she’s been waiting for! Having already been nominated twice, but having missed out, Beane officially took the stage at the 2026 Tony Awards and accepted the title of Best Actress in a Musical.

When the awards were announced over the weekend, Beane was called up to the stage to accept the award for Best Actress in a Musical. The star was in ‘The Lost Boys’, for which he received the award. She played the role of Lucy Emerson in the Broadway musical.While on stage, he accepted the award and gave a big shout out to his family members for being one of the reasons for his success. He added: “This is the most special gift of my career. I will never stop screaming how special this combination of humans is”.She also stated in her speech, “This is for the incredible army of women who surround me and lift me up. This is for all the women who have felt like it wasn’t too much or not enough. I’m begging you not to wait until you’re allowed to be all you are. Take your place, make your own way, make mistakes, make messes, do new things, be free, be loud, be loud and be. [bleep].”‘The Lost Boys’ was a great return to the stage, and it also won a Tony Award, after losing in the previous two nominations. ‘Hell’s Kitchen’ and ‘Mr. Saturday night.” She beat out many other talented candidates including Hannah Cruz, Rachel Dratch, Ana Gasteyer and Nichelle Lewis.
