And I said, “Yes, Shah Rukh.” He said, ‘I’d like you to come and lend your voice to this.’ And I said: ‘Yes, I will come.“So I crossed over and did that.”She further explained that Shah Rukh insisted on making up despite their friendship. “And, he sent me a big check. And I said, ‘Look, this is between two friends, you know, this isn’t about money at all.’ But he didn’t want to hear it. Shah Rukh being Shah Rukh, he next sent me a very expensive watch, which I still have. And it’s a beautiful souvenir.”Shekhar also spoke about the missed opportunity to collaborate with Shah Rukh in Devdas.
