South East Central Railway has started its Apprentice Recruitment 2026 drive by issuing a recruitment notification for 1,644 posts. The application process started on May 5 and will close on June 4, 2026. Submissions will be accepted online through Apprenticeship India. There are 1,363 vacancies in DRM Office, Raipur Division. There are about 281 posts in Wagon Repair Shop, Raipur. Applicants must have passed Class 10 or equivalent under the 10+2 system, securing at least 50% aggregate marks. Also, candidates should fall within the age bracket of 15 to 24 years as on 5th May 2026.Selection will be made strictly on merit. The authorities will calculate the average percentage of marks obtained in matriculation and ITI examinations, assigning equal weightage to both. Shortlisted candidates will be required to produce medical certificate during document verification. The certificate should be issued by a Government Authorized Doctor, and not of the rank of Assistant Surgeon in a Central or State Hospital, as per the provisions of the Apprenticeship Act, 1961 and subsequent rules.
