The song starring Sartaaj and Jasmine Sandlas was put together at the last moment before the overseas print of the film had to be sent. Bhushan Kumar said the response prompted him to prepare an extended version for T-Series listeners.

According to India Today, Bhushan Kumar and Satinder Sartaaj revealed that ‘Jaiye Sajana’ was part of ‘Dhurandhar: The Revenge’. Kumar said the film’s music worked for the director Aditya Dhar and the composer Shashwat Sachdev exactly how the songs were used in the story.“Music is a very important part of any film,” said Kumar, “but it depends on how the director visualizes it. The way Aditya Dhar and Shashwat Sachdev have placed songs in every action, emotion, situation in this film, it’s very difficult for anyone to think like that.”Kumar said he trusted the team’s vision. “I had full faith in Aditya and Shashwaten,” he said. “When they explained the music and the vision, I knew this was something special. It was then clear that we had to connect with this film.”He also said that Sartaaj’s voice changed the impact of the song. “I first heard the song at the launch,” Kumar said. “And when his voice comes in, that spirituality, it’s very powerful. You can’t imagine that location any other way.”
‘Dhurandhar 2 ‘ song gets an extended version
Sartaaj said the call came on March 15, when he had a show in Ludhiana. “Someone called saying there’s a line in a big movie that I want to do. Honestly, at first I didn’t pay much attention,” he recalled.“Five minutes into the call, I came to know that Shashwat was on the call,” he said. “I said, ‘I’m very ignorant about these things. I don’t follow much, I write, I compose, I sing.’Sartaaj said the team was short on time. “I was told that the printing had to go in a couple of hours because the film was being released overseas,” he said. “So I said, OK, let’s try. In about 15 minutes, I listened to the song, wrote the line, composed it, sang it and sent it.”He added, “I closed my studio and went to my concert. That was it.”Kumar said, “This song, in this form, did not exist earlier.” He added that the song became the album’s first track after its release, leading T-Series to plan a full version.
