Speaking to Hindustan Times, Dubey said, “I want to ask Sanjay Gupta ji a few years back when he was shooting his film Mumbai Saga and Jackie Shroff ne aane se mana kar diya, hi IFTDA federation you don’t have karvaya tha to solve the problem. Where was that objection then?”.

Dubey also went on to clarify the nature of the action against Ranveer, clarifying that it was not an outright ban. The federation, he explained, only issued a Non-Cooperation Declaration (NCD), which allows its members not to work with the actor. “Agar ye trend chalta raha to kaafi filmmaker aur producers nuksaan mein jaayenge. Humne kisi ko ban nahi kiya, humne to non-cooperation bola hai, federation ke members ka decided hai ye film body ka internal decision hai,” he said.

Dressed in traditional attire, Ranveer looked calm and serene during the spiritual outing.
