Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman they are bringing back the magic! At a recent event in Las Vegas, the ‘Practical Magic’ stars teased the film’s sequel. The two stars walked out on stage holding hands after emerging from a cloud of smoke. They also offered some details about where the sequel takes place, 28 years after the original.

At CinemaCon on Tuesday, Sandra Bullock and Nicole Kidman made an exciting appearance together. As the two exited the stage in a cloud of smoke, Bullock joked, “This is what happens every time I drop off the kids to take them to school.” — The witches are back! Kidman yelled, as Bullock teased, “Flip my line, that’s fine.” They continued to joke as Bullock walked into the room, “Why are we here, Nicole?” Kidman took to delivering her signature promo line, “We come to this place for magic!” amid great applause. Bullock joked, “I told you so!” Kidman admitted, “I didn’t think anyone would applaud.”

“I’m sure you’ve heard of the Owens family,” Bullock said in the trailer as Sally Owens. “Massachusetts. The neighbors whisper they’re witches.” Bullock’s Sally has raised her daughters to start a new life of her own, while Kidman’s boy-crazy Gillian Owens has moved in with a black cat. It doesn’t take long to find problems. On stage, Bullock called it the first film “a story that people have so kindly refused to give up on.” It follows two sisters from a witch dynasty as they deal with a family curse while working out their identities.
New cast members in ‘Practical Magic’ sequel
In addition to Bullock and Kidman, Lee Pace, Maisie Williams, Xolo Maridueña, Solly McLeod and Joey King are new members of the supporting cast.‘Practical Magic 2’ will be released in September.
