According to Variety India report, Kareena Kapoor Khan is in talks with filmmaker duo Raj & DK to star in the untitled superhero project opposite Salman Khan. Although Kareena is yet to formally sign on the dotted line, she has “responded enthusiastically to her role and verbal interest”.Salman is said to have spoken personally to speed up the talks, a move that puts him firmly ahead of other candidates, among others. If the deal goes through, this would mark Salman Khan and Kareena Kapoor Khan’s fifth on-screen collaboration and the first since Kabir Khan’s 2015 hit ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’. The two have a strong personal relationship and have been trying to work together again for years, making this project one that could finally fulfill that long-awaited reunion.

The superhero film Raj & DK marks the duo’s theatrical comeback, almost a decade after ‘A Gentleman’ (2017).
