When three MINOR Salman Khan fans traveled hundreds of kilometers from Delhi to meet their idol

Over the years, Salman Khan’s stardom has inspired countless stories of fan devotion. Admirers often wait outside his residence or travel long distances to catch a glimpse of the actor, an incident in the past that stood out for his sheer determination and innocence. In a shocking turn of events, three school children from Delhi went missing after sneaking away from home with one goal: to meet the superstars they admired on screen in ‘Bajrangi Bhaijaan’, ‘Sultan’, ‘Hum Aapke Hain Koun..!’ and in films like ‘Tere Naam’. The incident led to an extensive police search that lasted several days.

The secret plan to reach Salman Khan

According to Hindustan Times, reports at the time said the boys, aged 13, 11 and nine, connected online with a man named Wahid from Maharashtra through a gaming platform. The kids believed Wahid could help arrange a meeting with Salman Khan after he said he had met the actor in the past. Excited by the prospect, the trio reportedly decided to leave Delhi without informing their families.Their initial destination was Jalna in Maharashtra, from where they hoped to continue their journey towards Mumbai and fulfill their dream of meeting the Bollywood star.As panic spread among the family members, after the disappearance, the investigators began to look for clues. During the investigation, police allegedly recovered a handwritten note from one of the boys’ homes. The note mentioned his intention to travel to Maharashtra and meet a person named Wahid. The discovery gave authorities their first important clue.Investigations, including CCTV footage from the Sadar Bazar area, showed that the children were walking towards Ajmeri Gate. This led the officers to suspect that they had boarded a train departing from the New Delhi railway station.

The search operation is increased

After studying the train schedules and possible routes, the police concluded that the boys had boarded the Maharashtra-bound Sachkhand Express.Teams were later deployed at various locations while the Delhi Police coordinated with the Maharashtra railway authorities and local police units. However, by the time the officers reached Wahid’s residence in Jalna, the boys had already changed their plans.

Safe return after four days

Reports suggested that once Wahid became aware that police and family members were actively looking for the children, he backed out of the deal. The boys finally got down at a railway station in Nashik instead of continuing further. Authorities later traced their whereabouts through brief activity on their cell phones and successfully located them. After four harrowing days, the children were found safe, bringing a dramatic end to a story that highlighted the lengths some fans will go to for the chance to meet their favorite star.
