Actress Sai Pallavi gave a touching and emotional speech at a promotional event for her debut Hindi film ‘Ek Din ki Mehfil’ where she shared the stage. Aamir Khan and Junaid Khan.The actor, invited on stage to share a few words, apologized to the audience for his limited command of the Hindi language and warned of his common grammatical mistakes when trying to speak Hindi.Addressing the participants, Pallavi admitted that she was not ready to speak in Hindi. He said, “I didn’t know we would be speaking at the function. At least I would have learned something in Hindi. Personally, I thank you very much.”The actor asked the audience to forgive his grammar mistakes and added: “Thank you. It was a great evening. When I look back on my journey in the industry, I don’t know what I’ve worked for, but I’m happy that I’ve done it because it’s taking me to films with such talented people and I’m very humbled.”Pallavi also shared her appreciation of her film journey, saying, “Today has been very emotional for me as I didn’t know this was happening. What I have done has brought me here and I am grateful for the journey.”Thanking his team and co-stars, he gave a special mention to Aamir Khan. “Thank you, Aamir Sir, for putting me in such a space and making me a part of this film, where I can enjoy it and feel so much love,” she said, “This is my first Hindi film, and I’m actually quite nervous. But it’s an absolutely beautiful journey.”Pallavi also struck a lighter note in her speech, saying, “At least Aamir sir is crazy enough to be so emotional in public, but as much as I love my scenes, I wish the lights were dim so I can be more emotional.”‘Ek Din ki Mehfil’ will release on May 1.“Ek Din” marks a significant milestone in Pallavi’s career as she transitions into Hindi cinema before she takes the big screens this Diwali with ‘Ramayana’. Sai Maa will play the role of Sita Nitesh Tiwari directed epic starring Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Yash Ravana.
