New Chandigarh is set for a blockbuster IPL 2026 eliminator between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royalsand one name dominates the construction, Vaibhav Suryavanshi. Ahead of the high-stakes clash, the SRH skipper Pat Cummins Admitted that his team will have several bowling plans for the teenage sensation.The 15-year-old opener has taken IPL 2026 by storm for Rajasthan Royals, redefining fearless batting at an incredibly young age. Suryavanshi broke several records during the league phase and emerged as one of the breakout stars of the season. In 14 innings, the youngster has scored 583 runs at a staggering strike rate of 232.27, leaving bowlers scrambling for answers throughout the tournament.Interestingly, Vaibhav has already faced SRH twice this season. In the first match, he was dismissed for a golden duck, but in the return match, he responded in style with a brilliant century against Hyderabad. Although SRH won both the league stage meetings, Suriyavanshi’s current form makes them a major threat going into the eliminators.And Cummins acknowledged the challenge while speaking to JioStar.“As a bowler it’s always a balance of figuring out what you do well and how you’re bowling to your strengths. But when you have one or two players in every line-up who take the game away from the opposition, you spend a bit more time working on plan B or plan C,” Cummins said.

“So, yes, we will plan for him. Although he scored a century against us last time, I thought there were times when we bowled pretty well in front of him and kept him quiet. Other times, he got away from us, so, we will learn from that,” he added.Pat Cummins also opened up about whether beating Rajasthan Royals twice makes sense.“You’re obviously starting over, but you learn from previous games. We’ve played them twice. We’ve had a good look at a lot of their players. A lot of our guys can look back at games where they’ve had success and lean towards going to the finals. So, it’s always nice to come against a team you’ve had success against.”
