The iconic song, shot amid the lush greenery of Mysore, began with a shot that was much more physically demanding than what appeared on screen. Meenakshi Seshadri revealed that being perched on top of a moving vehicle required every bit of focus and physical control.
In his words, “The opening shot in this song shows the hero sitting on top of a moving car. This was almost like an adventure and it took all my agility to keep it steady, but still look calm and romantic.”The veteran actor was generous in his praise of Rishi Kapoor’s role in making the shot work, citing his stability behind the wheel as a key factor in keeping the sequence safe and smooth. “Rishi Kapoor Ji showed great driving talent in handling the car, keeping it stable and working with the camera crew,” he wrote.Sharing the full post on social media, he wrote, “Continuing with Damini’s 33rd birthday celebrations. Damini was a gritty and serious drama, but still has melodious and memorable music. Jabse tumko dekha hai sanam is a sweet composition with timeless appeal and was shot in the idyllic greenery of Mysore fields.”
