Australian Crawl will reunite on stage after 40 years at an upcoming music festival

The famous Australian Crawl of the 1980s sent waves through the music industry with their songs. Known as one of the most popular music groups of the time, Australian Crawl sold out stadiums and sold millions of copies of their records. Their breakup in 1986 hit the industry hard, with fans wondering if they would ever see their favorite band again. Now, according to the latest reports, the group will officially reunite for a reunion concert!Here’s what we know about it so far.

Australian Crawl to reunite after 40 years

It’s been around 40 years since all the remaining members of the Australian Crawl took to the stage again to perform some of their hit songs. However, the group has officially confirmed that they will reunite and perform on stage.Original frontman James Reyne, along with guitarist Simon Binks and drummer David Reyne, will reunite on stage for the first time in 40 years for a performance on the upcoming Red Hot Summer Tour. The annual traveling music festival will also be joined by some of the biggest names in the industry. Although it is not possible to bring the whole band together, ex-Crawl member John Watson will also be joining the band for this special performance.Not only that, he will also be joined by Men at Work, another iconic and legendary group in the industry. Other lineups include Vika & Linda, Boom Crash Opera, Birds of Tokyo, Eskimo Joe and Ella Hooper.

The special pre-sale will launch on June 22nd, while regular pre-sale tickets will launch a day later on June 23rd.The group was formed in 1978 on the Mornington Peninsula. They started with small concerts and held their first concert at the same time. While they were only together for 8 years, they managed to release some of their greatest hits. These include ‘Reckless’, ‘The Boys Light Up’ and ‘Beautiful People’ to name a few.
