BOB Apprentice Recruitment 2026: Bank of Baroda has started the online application process for the recruitment of 5,000 apprentices under the Apprentices Act, 1961. The engagement offers graduates a one-year training in one of the country’s public sector banks while receiving a monthly stipend of Rs 15,000. Candidates can apply through official portals from 19 May 2026.The recruitment drive covers vacancies across states and Union Territories, with Gujarat having the highest number of 960 seats, followed by Uttar Pradesh with 764 and Maharashtra with 580. The selection process includes online test, document verification, local language assessment and medical examination.Eligibility and Registration DetailsApplicants should be citizens of India and possess a graduation degree in any discipline from a recognized university or an equivalent qualification approved by the Central Government. Candidates registered under the NATS portal must ensure that their graduation completion date is not more than four years before the cut-off date of 1 May 2026.Candidates need to register on either the NAPS or NATS Apprenticeship Portal before applying for the Bank of Baroda Apprenticeship Programme. Those who have already completed apprenticeship training elsewhere or have a year or more of post-graduation work experience are not eligible.For NAPS-registered candidates, the upper age limit is less than 34 years as on the cut-off date. Age relaxation for SC, ST, OBC and PwBD candidates will be applicable as per Government of India rules.Vacancies and Fees by StateOut of the total 5,000 seats, 2,148 are reserved for unreserved category candidates. There are 483 vacancies in Karnataka, 412 in Rajasthan, 199 in Tamil Nadu and 194 in West Bengal.Application fee for General, EWS and OBC male candidates is Rs.800 plus GST. Female and transgender candidates of the same category have to pay Rs 600 plus GST, while SC, ST and PWBD candidates have to pay Rs 200 plus GST.Selection process and application procedureThe online exam will carry 100 marks and will include sections on General and Financial Awareness, Quantitative and Reasoning Aptitude, Computer Knowledge and General English. Candidates who qualify the exam will have to undergo document verification and local language test for the selected state or union territory.Applicants can apply for only one State or Union Territory. Last date for submission of applications is 8 June 2026.
