Bollywood actress Ranbir Kapoor has decided to transfer its first residence in Vaastu Building. The seventh-floor apartment, which covers 2,460 sq ft, registered a consent agreement on May 19, 2026. Ranbir bought the property for Rs 35 crore in 2016, and celebrity designer Gauri Khan put together the interiors.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Pali Hill apartment has been rented out for Rs 11 lakh per month
According to documents obtained by Zapkey, Ranbir has rented out his former Pali Hill apartment in Bandra West, Mumbai for a monthly rent of Rs 11 lakh for a period of five years. Documents reveal that Aditya Shukla has leased the property for five years, with the agreement including a 5% escalation clause. Also, a security deposit of Rs 45 lakh was paid as part of the deal.
Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s New Home: Krishna Raj Bungalow
Although their Vaastu apartment has a new tenant, Ranbir and Alia Bhatt have made the Krishna Raj bungalow their home. The ancestral property of the Kapoor family was renovated for many years and was finally completed in 2025. It is named after Ranbir’s grandmother Krishna. Raj KapoorThe bungalow is believed to be worth around 250 crores and is one of the most famous houses in Mumbai, along with Shah Rukh Khan’s Mannat and Amitabh Bachchan’s Jalsa. The property was built and came about 80 years ago Rishi Kapoor and Neetu Kapoor in 1980. A room inside the bungalow has reportedly been set aside as a tribute to Rishi Kapoor, who died in 2020 after battling leukemia.
Ranbir Kapoor invests in a plot of land Ayodhya
On the real estate front, Ranbir Kapoor also invested in a plot in The Sarayu, a premium development by Abhinandan Lodha House in Ayodhya, paying around Rs 3.31 crore for the purchase. The plot, measuring 2,134 sq ft, is part of a sprawling 75-acre development along the banks of the Sarayu River, five acres of which will house a clubhouse, over 35 lifestyle amenities and an all-vegetarian luxury hotel run by The Leela.
Ranbir Kapoor will play Lord Rama in ‘Ramayana’
On the professional front, Ranbir is gearing up to play Lord Rama in ‘Ramayana’, an ambitious two-parter being made on a whopping budget of Rs 4,000 crore. The much awaited project has an impressive cast with Yash stepping into the role of Ravana, Sai Pallavi playing Sita. Sunny Deol portraying Lord Hanuman, and Ravie Dubey playing the role of Lakshman.
