'Peddi': Ram Charan and Janhvi Kapoor clear CBFC proceedings; the duration of the sports action drama is more than 3 hours

Ram Charan will next be seen in ‘Peddi’ which releases on June 4, 2026. Directed by Buchi Babu Sanak and starring Janhvi Kapoor, the film has now cleared the censor formalities as the latest teaser suggests that it has received the UA 16+ censor certificate.

Along with the certificate, the duration of the film has also been revealed. Official CBFC list, ‘Peddi’ has a total running time of 189 minutes which means the sports action drama will run for 3 hours and 9 minutes. This duration makes it one of the longest films of Ram Charan’s career. According to Pinkvilla, the film received only minor changes before getting certified.

Makers have unveiled a special song starring Shruti Haasan

Ahead of the release, the makers recently released an energetic song ‘Hellalallo’. The song features Shruti Haasan in a special appearance along with Ram Charan. The makers released the film at a grand event in Bhopal. The group, along with musical genius AR Rahman, who composed the film, also performed songs including adrenaline-pumping tracks and ‘Massa Massa Massaaa’.After the event, Ram Charan took to his X (formerly Twitter) handle to write, “Thank you Bhopal for the incredible love, warmth and energy you have given us. Thank you for all the love. See you in theaters with #Peddi.”
