On how it all started, Rajpal shared in an interview with Shubhankar Mishra, “We met in Calgary. Even today, I don’t understand how a man from Uttar Pradesh found a partner to live there. But it turned out beautifully, I didn’t realize at the time that it would become my backbone.’ Adding a touch of humor to herself, she said, “My aunt used to say, ‘Langoor ko hoor mil gayi’ (an ordinary man got a beautiful wife), and I felt the same way.

For him, his marriage also reflects his greater belief in the importance of women in one’s life. “I have always talked about ‘naari shakti’ (power of women). From a mother to a partner, women play different roles in shaping your life. I am who I am because of their blessings, I smile because of them,” she explained.He also recalled his father-in-law’s initial reaction when he first saw it through a still from one of his films. “My father-in-law saw the first picture of me in the jungle, with my hair standing up, holding a gun, and he was shocked. But when he saw me in person, he realized I’m just a normal man. That’s the character.”Rajpal added that Radha has always been fair, especially when it comes to her work. “There are times when I took him to a premiere, and we ended up arguing on the way back, he asked me: ‘Do you think you should have made this film?’ He doesn’t believe in flattery. If he doesn’t like something, he says it clearly.
