R Madhavan shares a post on five things men love but are too shy to ask their wives:

Actor R Madhavan and his wife Sarita Birje have often been admired for their long-lasting relationship. The couple dated for almost eight years before getting married in 1999. Interestingly, Sarita was Madhavan’s student at Kolhapur’s public speaking workshop, where the two first met before falling in love.Madhavan, who is known for openly expressing his admiration for his wife, recently grabbed attention on social media with a post about marital relationships and emotional needs. The actor reposted an Instagram Story with a series titled “5 Habits Men Love But Are Too Shy To Ask Their Wives For.” The slides highlighted cues such as “Initiates sometimes,” “Talks well about him in public,” “Shows random affection,” “Clearly expresses confidence,” and “Prioritizes outside attention.” The post subtly challenged traditional stereotypes where men are usually expected to make the first move or initiate love.

Earlier, in an appearance on Ranveer Allahbadia’s podcast, Madhavan spoke candidly about how his marriage with Sarita has remained strong despite the pressure from the stars.“We have our struggles like any couple. We have a lot of respect for each other. For Sarita, I am not a national star or an actress who should feel privileged to be his wife. She is a match for the boy who falls in love with her and respects her. And I don’t miss an opportunity to feel lucky,” she shared. After getting married in 1999, the couple welcomed their son Vedaant Madhavan in 2005. Unlike his father, Vedaant chose not to pursue acting and developed a passion for professional swimming. In 2019, Vedaant made the country proud by winning a silver medal for India at the Asian Age Group Swimming Championships.
