After the historic multi-share box office success of ‘Animal’, the filmmaker has fully immersed himself in his next film universe with Rebel Star Prabhas. Titled ‘Spirit’, the high-octane crime drama is going ahead in a busy and fast-paced shooting schedule in Telangana. The production recently made headlines after the crew took to one of Hyderabad’s legendary single-screen exhibition landmarks to shoot a promising sequence of Vanga-esque classical and stark elevations.

The historic Hyderabad theater becomes the final shooting location

The final schedule of ‘Spirit’ has started in Hyderabad and the makers have selected the famous Vimal theater in Balanagar for the shoot. Considered one of the most popular single screen theaters in the city, the theater spans four decades. After releasing a number of blockbuster movies over the years, the theater has now emerged as a premier venue for one of India’s biggest blockbusters. According to NTNews, many scenes are being shot at the location.

Prabhas’ presence garners a huge fan following

The moment the local media confirmed that Prabhas would be physically present in Balanagar for the short schedule, the surrounding streets immediately flooded. Thousands of die-hard fans lined the perimeter of the theater, desperate to see the Star Rebellion.To avoid disruptions to the film’s tight timeline, the producers deployed heavy private security with local law enforcement. The barriers placed around the complex allowed the technical team to control the crowd well, keeping the cameras moving well.

Star-studded cast raises expectations for ‘Spirit’

The film marks the Telugu debut of Bollywood star Vivek Oberoi, who will play the central antagonist opposite Prabhas. Joining the actor in key roles is veteran actress and rising talent Kanchana Aishwarya Desaiwhile the music score is being handled by Harshavardhan Rameshwar.The studio has confirmed that it is reshaping Spirit as a global entertainer. The film will be released simultaneously in eight languages, with a regional follow-up in Indian countries, along with international releases targeting the theatrical markets of China, Japan and Korea.
