Unlike a regular Telugu release, ‘Peddi’ will arrive as a pan-Indian film in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam. According to trade experts, the film needs around 140 crores from non-Telugu territories. Overall, the film is targeting a worldwide revenue of Rs 500 crore to emerge as a huge hit in India.Only a few Telugu films have crossed Rs 500 crore worldwide. Netflix bags ‘Peddi’ OTT release
While the focus is currently on the theatrical release, fans are also curious about the film’s OTT plans. An official streaming release date has yet to be announced. But then again, Netflix has bought the online rights of ‘Peddi’, which will release after its theatrical release.According to the latest trends in the film industry, the film is likely to appear on the online streaming platform between 6 and 10 weeks from the launch date. But till then, everything else about ‘Peddi’ will revolve around the box office, Ram Charan aims to deliver one of the biggest hits of his career with ‘RRR’ opposite SS Rajamouli.
