Pawan Kalyan fell ill on Friday morning while on his way to a meeting with officials. He was said to be very uncomfortable during the debates, which caused concern among his team.Following the advice of the doctors, he canceled the daytime programs. He was then admitted to a hospital for further evaluation and observation.

A statement shared by his party, the Jana Sena Party, on X read: “Pawan Kalyan underwent surgery on Saturday evening. While discussing administrative matters with his officials on Friday morning, he experienced severe discomfort. He has been facing health-related problems for the past few months. Following the advice of his personal doctors, he canceled and visited the official hospital on Friday.”The statement added: “Doctors at the hospital conducted medical examinations, including magnetic resonance imaging. After reviewing the reports, the medical team decided that surgery was necessary and performed the procedure. The doctors recommended that he could resume official duties after a week to ten days of rest. However, they stated that long-term measures will be necessary, and a full recovery period may be longer.“
